Scouts organize into small self-reliant teams of six to eight peers under an elected patrol leader. They plan their own trail menus, pitch their own canvas shelters, and coordinate backcountry routes together.
Adult leaders observe and advise from the perimeter, ensuring two-deep safety and environmental compliance while giving youth the space to resolve real practical problems.

Accountability and Safety Standards
Senior Patrol Council
Elected youth leaders run weekly troop meetings, organize trail gear inspections, and train younger scouts in knot tying and wilderness navigation.
Committee Safety Oversight
Chartered adult volunteers manage Youth Protection training, campout logistics, and merit badge mentorship while maintaining strict two-deep leadership protocols on every excursion.
Committed to Transparent Safety
Have questions regarding our committee oversight, Youth Protection guidelines, or upcoming campouts? Troop leadership welcomes prospective families to connect.
